Hi... from the Craft House Team!

Four months into the year ... and its shaping up to be a good one in so many respects! With the first Women's Lifestyle Expo over with, the second Wedding Show in Wellington this year just completed this past weekend with a record number of visitors to our stand... and of course another dozen or more exciting additions to the Becky Higgins Project Life range announced with more to come very soon - we won't be slowing down any time soon it seems!

Our School Holiday Programme was a terrific success too - and we are already planning the next one (traditionally one of our biggest most popular with colder months kicking in) with new projects added.

And of course the Adult Class Schedule for the year is well underway with Beverley creating all manner of classes to inspire, educate and excite! The current Adult Class Schedule can be downloaded here. Just check out this class in time for Mothers Day! A special class for a special day... Mothers & Daughters encouraged.. and a rather posh Afternoon Tea included!

On the current upcoming events agenda are the following... Beverley & David will be at the All About Kids Expo in Wellington on Sunday 17th June 2012 from 9am-4pm, Mary & Beverley will be at SENZ (Scrapbooking, Cards & Crafts Expo) in Hamilton from 13th - 15th July 2102.. and we (some of the Team) will all be at the Women's Lifestyle Expo's in Wellington 11th - 12th August 2012 & Christchurch 6th - 7th October 2012... and the NZ Baby Show in Auckland from the 26th - 28th October 2012.

Not forgetting of course, the Wellington Paper Arts & Crafts Show (Craft House hosts this event with Crafting Around of Tawa), and which is supported by specialist Scrapbooking, Cardmaking and other Arts & Crafts retailers from around New Zealand. This year it will be held at the Te Rauparaha Arena in Porirua on the 1st & 2nd September.

So, the year is certainly seeing us get around a bit - and we are still working on other events and activities nationally and internationally! We may see many of you, our valued customers, as we travel we are sure. (David really appreciated seeing many of you in Rotorua at the Lifestyle Expo recently - it has been a while since we have visited that region... thanks again for saying "Hi")

OUT OF STOCK PAGE INSERTS & PROTECTORS - ALL BACK IN STOCK!

It took a week or so longer than expected - but we have finally received the new stocks of all those popular page inserts and protectors that we (and Amazon and the other International Distributor) unexpectedly sold out of! Back orders are just about all processed - and these much awaited products are on their way.

NEW PRODUCTS

As promised... they have been announced properly, with images on Becky's website and ours - and even without officially notifying everyone - the pre-orders are flooding in! The extension of the existing range of page inserts and protectors is significant - and many are in preparation for the next products releases which will be the new designs of Albums & Core Kits and something else! (Are we excited or what? We just can't wait to be able to share... but we have to, sorry!)

As many are aware, outside of the US, customers can pre-order to secure and be guaranteed the supply of the items they want - which is something that can't be done in the US as all sales are processed through Amazon who do not offer such a service to their customers - much to the despair of many who miss out!

Anyway, the above items (new page inserts and protectors) can be pre-ordered within our store as usual (and where we update shipping dates as best we can based on manufacturing and shipping information we get)... as will be the new products as soon as Becky officially releases the information.

Finally... just touching on the pre-orders again - a good number of customers have the existing Binders and Core Kits on pre-order currently. There has been a change (for the better - just wait and see!) in the manufacture of the Core Kits which pushed the ship date from manufacturing out by a couple of weeks meaning both these items will ship to us from manufacturing mid/late May at this stage and early/mid-June to customers.

MANUFACTURING, LASER WORK & ENGRAVING Craft House has extensive in-house resources and associations in support of bespoke design and manufacturing of many items... ordinary and not so ordinary. Woodworking and general carpentry facilities and skills are augmented by modern laser cutting and engraving equipment. Common projects include custom boxes, display cabinets, display trays, albums, artwork, props (WOW, Theatre, School Balls, Wedding accessories), custom embellishments, 21st Keys ... and so on. CUSTOM STAMPS We decided that there is no way Craft House could carry the immense range of rubber and acrylic stamps available nowadays... so while we will still purchase and stock some, we design and manufacture stamps to order in house and through partners also. CRAFT GROUPS We enjoy "hosting" craft groups, groups of friends, parties and simply "get together's" within our store - offering seating for up to 36 crafter's at any one time within our fully resourced classroom/workshop complimented by comprehensive kitchen facilities.
